Lawn mowing in Wilmington, NC
Weekly in the growing season, every other week when growth slows. Trimming, edging and blowing are part of every cut.
Quick quote
Five boxes and you are done. Most quotes go back out the same day.
Mowing on a schedule you can count on
Most lawn care in this area has a reliability problem. Crews take the job, cut twice, then start skipping weeks without explaining why. That is a scheduling problem, not a lawn problem.
So we run set routes by neighborhood and hold a specific day for you. You get a text the day before every visit, including the ones we have to move for weather.

What is included
- Cut at the right height for your grass type, not one setting for every yard
- String trimming around beds, trees, fences, posts and AC units
- Hard edging along the driveway, sidewalk and curb
- Blowing clippings off all hard surfaces before we leave
- Gate closed and latched behind us, every single time
Cut height matters more here than most places
Most Wilmington lawns are centipede or St. Augustine, and both scalp badly when a crew runs the deck too low to stretch the interval between visits. Centipede holds up best around three inches, St. Augustine a touch higher in full sun.
In July and August growth slows on sandy soil. That is usually when we suggest moving to every other week rather than charging you for a cut the grass did not need.
How often we come
What changes your price
Lot size first, then obstacles. A quarter acre with three trees and a straight fence line prices lower than the same square footage split by beds, a pool and a gate too narrow for the rider. Slope and how far we carry equipment from the street both count too.
Common questions
Do I have to be home?
No. Most of our customers are at work when we come. We just need gate access and a heads up about pets.
What happens when it rains?
We push to the next dry day and text you. We do not cut saturated ground — it ruts the yard and tears the turf.
Do you bag the clippings?
We mulch by default because clippings feed the lawn. If growth is heavy enough to clump, or you prefer bagging, we bag and haul for a small add-on.
Is there a contract?
No. Give us a week's notice and we take you off the route. We would rather earn the next visit than lock you into twelve.
